Welcome to the mypromo.lk Community — a friendly, Sri Lankan space where real people share real savings. 🇨🇦 Whether you’re posting a deal, leaving a comment, or just browsing, these guidelines help keep things honest, helpful, and respectful for everyone.

• Be accurate. Only post deals that are currently live and available to other Canadians.
• Use the real source. Link directly to the retailer’s product page — not to an affiliate redirect, URL shortener, or third-party reseller you’re not transparent about.
• Add value. Include the price, store name, and any conditions (coupon code, membership required, limited time, etc.) so people can decide quickly.
• No duplicate posts. Search before you post. If a deal is already listed, upvote the existing one or add a comment with any updates.
• One deal, one post. Don’t post the same deal multiple times to game visibility.

• Be helpful. Comments should add useful context — price history, better alternatives, expiry updates, or local availability.
• Be respectful. Disagree with a deal, not with a person. No personal attacks, harassment, or hate speech.
• Vote honestly. Upvote deals that are genuinely good value. Don’t brigade or vote-manipulate.
• Keep it on-topic. This isn’t the place for off-topic debates or unrelated promotions.

• Spam, self-promotion, or advertising disguised as a deal.
• Misleading, expired, or fabricated offers.
• Referral links, affiliate links, or anything that personally profits you without disclosure.
• Content that is offensive, discriminatory, or harmful to any individual or group.
• Posting personal information about others.
• Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or inflate votes.

Our team reviews all new deals before they go live. We may remove, edit, or reject any post that doesn’t meet these guidelines — no hard feelings, just keeping things clean for everyone.
